When Tsuna and the Vongola guardians fight the Millefiore, they learn that Shoichi Irie, a comrade of Tsuna's future self, sent them to the future because the future Tsuna said they were the only ones able to defeat Millefiore leader Byakuran. The characters were all very well developed and very likable. If you look deeper into the anime you'll see that his character is really kind despite the fact that he doesn't want to show it. His character was not only the sexy but well developed too. The characters were perfect with their imperfections. There are a lot of sexy guys in this anime. I really liked how the characters were drawn. It gives you time to get to know the characters a little bit better.
The first season for me was like a build-up for the next seasons. I feel that the anime was unnecessary long (and that's not only because of the fillers which were at least 1 for every 10 episodes).
